Kim M. Seidel, MA, LPC, NCC
Trauma Therapist, Parenting Expert, Author, & National Speaker
Kim brings nearly three decades of experience walking alongside individuals, families, and caregivers impacted by trauma. She has witnessed trauma from almost every vantage point — as a mother, an adopted child, an adoptive parent, a relative caregiver, a survivor, and a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 29 years. This lived experience deeply shapes her work, allowing her to meet people with authenticity, compassion, and a profound understanding of what healing truly requires.

Kim is known for offering practical, effective support to caregivers and professionals through individual parent coaching and engaging, trauma-informed trainings. Her approach is relatable, empowering, and immediately applicable. Participants consistently leave feeling empowered, informed, and encouraged, with renewed hope and concrete tools they can begin using right away.

In addition to her work with caregivers, Kim provides trauma-informed counseling for teens and adults navigating challenges such as childhood trauma or abuse, attachment wounds, anxiety, and depression. She incorporates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) within a compassionate, relational framework to help clients move beyond survival and toward lasting healing, connection, and resilience.
