With nearly three decades of experience and a story unlike anyone else in the room, Kim brings a rare and powerful perspective to every stage she steps onto. She knows what it means to be an adopted child trying to make sense of the world. She knows the exhaustion and fierce love of an adoptive parent. She knows the weight carried by relative caregivers, the complexity of the foster care journey, and the quiet suffering of survivors who have never been given the words to describe what happened to them. And for over 29 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, she has walked alongside the families, children, and professionals navigating all of it.
